It’s really fucking shitty that a female’s friendship is seen as something of lesser value, a booby (or lack thereof) prize, or something that isn’t good enough for you.

Real talk: If you don’t want to be “just friends” with someone and you’re going to complain after she tells you she only sees you as a friend, then DON’T FUCKING TRY TO BE HER FRIEND. BE UP FRONT AND ASK HER THE FUCK OUT AND ACT LIKE YOU WANT TO DATE HER. AND IF SHE STILL SAYS “NO” THEN NUT UP AND MOVE THE FUCK ON WITH YOUR LIFE.

Yeah, it sucks when you have a crush on someone and they don’t feel the same way, but that’s life.

Chances are, if you complain about getting “friend zone’d” you are a shitty friend and probably don’t deserve to even exist in the zone of friendship for long either since it’s pretty clear that their friendship isn’t good enough for you and you were really only hanging out with them because you wanted to date them/get some ass. Being someone’s friend does NOT mean a girl owes you her body/a relationship/a date.

Girls (who date guys) don’t only “go for jerks.” Girls don’t want a “nice guy.” Girls want an honest and genuine guy whose intentions are clear and doesn’t pretend to be their friend. Y’know, someone who actually IS nice.

If you’re guilty of being a “nice guy” this is probably why you’re still single.
